Ireland Architects Inc. is the project architect for an addition to A-1 South Self Storage in south Springfield. Officials say the project includes climate-controlled storage units with an upgraded and enlarged manager’s apartment and an accessible office area. Kenmar Construction Inc. is the general contractor, with engineering work by Heithaus Engineering & Associates Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and Crocker Consulting Engineers Inc., mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to wrap by year’s end.
Tea Bar & Bites Bakery & Cafe changed ownership; the Springfield-Greene County Health Department relocated one of its clinics; and a Joplin real estate investment organization affiliated with a national trade group formed the Springfield Real Estate Investors Association.
