NForm Architecture LLC is designing a new courthouse for Callaway County. Voters approved the $9 million project through a 1/2-cent sales tax bond initiative. The existing courthouse in Fulton was built in 1938 and has not been expanded, though the demand for services has increased, according to county officials. Little Dixie Construction Co. LLC (Columbia) is the general contractor with engineering work by Cochran Engineering, civil; Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural; frankZdesign LLC, landscape; and Interpres Building Solutions LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to wrap in February 2022.
Tea Bar & Bites Bakery & Cafe changed ownership; the Springfield-Greene County Health Department relocated one of its clinics; and a Joplin real estate investment organization affiliated with a national trade group formed the Springfield Real Estate Investors Association.
