Paragon Architecture LLC has designed a $2.5 million public health headquarters for Dallas County. The 9,300-square-foot facility features exam and consulting areas for health screenings and vaccinations, officials say, as well as a large community room to host nutrition seminars and education events. The Dallas County Health Department has not yet selected a general contractor. Engineering work is by Toth and Associates Inc., civil; J&M Engineering LLC, structural; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. The project is expected to wrap in May 2022.
