The University of Missouri has hired Laird Veatch as its next athletics director.
Veatch, who has past experience with Mizzou athletics in fundraising and media partner roles, is slated to start on May 1. He succeeds Desiree Reed-Francois, who exited in February.
Veatch has been an athletics director in Memphis since 2019.
