Esterly, Schneider & Associates Inc. is project architect for Lawrence County Emergency Services’ 7,600-square-foot E911 Call Center and 300-foot communications tower. The facility is being designed as a storm shelter to ensure 911 services will not be interrupted by extreme weather. Design officials say the call center will house eight communication pods and a training room for up to 32 people. Engineering work is by Anderson Engineering Inc., civil; JS Smith Consulting Engineers PC, structural; and RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. A general contractor has not yet been selected. The project is slated for completion by June 2023.
