Rescue One
3859 W. Nichols St.
Rescue One is in the first stages of building a multimillion-dollar operations center. Project architect nForm Architecture LLC has designed the 14,000-square-foot facility to include administrative offices, a multipurpose space for training and adoption events, emergency boarding with indoor and outdoor kennels, and a 3,600-square-foot low-cost veterinary clinic, according to design officials. The facility also includes an outdoor exercise yard. Rescue One officials say a 4-acre parcel of land was purchased for the center, which has an estimated cost between $3.5 million and $4 million. The general contractor and project engineers have yet to be selected. The projected is slated for completion by December 2023.
