RTM Engineering Consultants LLC is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for Okana Resort, an 11-story, 404-room hotel in close proximity to the heart of Oklahoma City and the Boathouse District. A 5-acre outdoor adventure lagoon sits at the center of the property and will be lined with sandy beaches. Officials say the $350 million project also features a 33,000-square-foot family entertainment center, a roughly 100,000-square-foot indoor waterpark, 39,000 square feet of conference center space, a spa and golf simulator, and multiple retail and dining options. Architectural Design Consultants PC (Lake Delton, Wisconsin) is the project architect and Manhattan Construction Co. (Tulsa, Oklahoma) is the general contractor. Additional engineering work is by Johnson & Associates Engineering (Huntsville, Alabama), civil, and Pierce Engineers Inc. (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), structural. The project is slated for completion by January 2024.
