City Utilities Stockton Booster Pump Station
Greene County
HDR Engineering was selected by City Utilities of Springfield to design a booster pumping station to meet the full allocation of water sourced from Stockton Lake. The project is part of CU’s raw water supply system and will increase capacity of the existing raw water pipeline conveying water from Stockton Lake to Fellows Lake. The project includes a 1.5 million-gallon prestressed, wire-wound concrete reservoir and a booster pumping station equipped to handle up to 30 million gallons per day. HDR is the project designer and provides civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering work for the project. Design will be complete in April and a construction timeline is yet to be determined.
Utah-based gourmet cookie chain Crumbl Cookies opened its first Springfield shop; interior design business Branson Upstaging LLC relocated; and Lauren Ashley Dance Center LLC added a second location.
