Maries County School District facility improvements
300 4th St., Vienna
Smith-Goth Engineers Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer for the three phases of updates to the Maries County School District. Phase I included improving drainage at athletic fields, installing a new track surface, and resurfacing and expanding the parking lot and replacing lighting. Phase II consisted of replacing the windows of the oldest buildings on campus and installing secure, bulletproof entrances. Phase III consists of an addition at the south end of the building, which included adding interior access to a band room, increasing space outside of the gym to accommodate game day activities, constructing a concession stand, and improving security at the entrance. BRP Architects designed the $1.1 million worth of projects and Bales Construction LLC was the general contractor. Additional engineering work is by Central Missouri Engineering LLC, civil, and J&M Engineering LLC, structural. The project is slated for completion by May.
