Earning Experience, Respect

After graduating college, I was nervous about finding my footing in the marketing industry. Younger people, especially women, are not always taken seriously. People think you are too young and inexperienced for a great job, and yet you need those jobs in order to gain the necessary experience.

I was blessed enough to find a terrific job at a local television station. As a sales rep, I established contacts with numerous businesses, learned about accomplishing deadlines in little time, and realized just how deep my passion for marketing truly is.

With two years at the station under my belt, my mother Tammy Vietti asked me to come work for her at her marketing agency. Rather than give me a job I did not earn right out of college, she knew I had to thrive on my own and prove I could handle the job expectations. Working with her each day has taught me infinite lessons about the kind of person I want to be and the type of leader I hope to become.

My colleagues teach me more than they realize as well. It is a blessing to be part of a female-run business filled with a majority of women. Watching everyone here come together as a team to be there for our clients and give them the most for their budget is something I am quite proud to be part of.
