Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective
Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective is the architect and mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer of a 200,000-square-foot, three-story office building for Convoy of Hope. The $37 million building features a three-story atrium with an employee cafe, a catering kitchen, training room, offices, executive suites and board room and conference rooms, as well as a third-floor patio, 700-seat chapel and production studios. A second-story enclosed skywalk will connect the building to the nonprofit’s distribution center, which opened in fall 2021. The headquarters is being constructed of post-tensioned cast-in-place concrete in a steel frame that includes decorative metal wall panels and aluminum and glass accents. Q & Co. LLC is the general contractor with additional engineering work by Olsson Inc., civil, and Miller Engineering PC, structural. The project is expected to be completed in August 2023.
