Description: An expansion and renovation to the Springfield-Branson National Airport’s general aviation terminal, built in 1990, will nearly double its size to 8,923 square feet, providing more space and amenities for passengers in privately owned aircraft. The terminal is also where private aircraft are fueled and serviced. The project aims to make the building more efficient, with updated restrooms, expansion of the administration area and pilot lounge, and the addition of a large public community room, according to airport officials. The project began in July 2023, the middle of the busiest year on record for the airport, with 1.3 million private and commercial passengers – up more than 15% from the year before.
The Courageous Church is growing its footprint with the addition of a new East Campus, made possible through a merger with the former Eastern Gate Free Will Baptist Church.
