The Ozark School District cut the ribbon late last week on the renovated Tiger Paw Early Childhood Center, part of a multimillion-dollar bond issue approved two years ago.
The work by general contractor DeWitt & Associates Inc. and architect Esterly Schneider & Associates Inc. upgraded a building originally constructed in the 1920s, according to a news release.
"Revitalizing this building is symbolic of preserving Ozark’s history and heritage," said Sarah Adams-Orr, school board president, in the release. "Our community has always viewed education as an investment in our future generations.”
The Tiger Paw project got the green light through a $26.5 million bond issue in 2020, according to past reporting.
Springfield event venue Belamour LLC gained new ownership; The Wok on West Bypass opened; and Hawk Barber & Shop closed on a business purchase that expanded its footprint to Ozark.
