For 25 years, Springfield Business Journal has honored local women for their professional and civic accomplishments and contributions.
An independent panel of judges has selected this year’s class of Most Influential Women. With the addition of this class, 500 women have received this award.
Editor’s Note: This year, we celebrate the 25th class of Springfield Business Journal’s Most Influential Women. With these 20 honorees, now 500 professionals who have made an impact on this community hold the title.
As SBJ’s founder Dianne Elizabeth Osis has said, “Once an influential woman, always an influential woman.”
When asked for their best advice to other women, many of this year’s honorees wrote about the importance of cheering on the people around them – and to surround yourself with people who will cheer back. It wasn’t a surprise to read this. It’s something I personally feel in this community. The simple act of celebration can cut through the noise of a world that feels increasingly divided and heavy.
A special thanks to the panel of judges who selected this year’s class. We hope you enjoy reading this special edition.
And I hope you can make time to cheer on the people in your life who are making impacts, large and small.
