Project description: The Pinegar family of Pinegar Chevrolet Inc. in Republic is building a multitenant commercial development on 3.5 acres across the street from its dealership. Wildwood Plaza is anchored by a 10,400-square-foot building, which will be occupied by Flat Creek Resort Bar & Grill. Abbi Pinegar-Rose said other confirmed tenants are offices for Elliott, Robinson & Co. and Edward Jones, and previously signed tenant Family Pharmacy is no longer on board. Lease rates range between $13 and $15 per square foot, according to WildwoodPlaza.com. Construction originally was slated to finish in the fall, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
The former Kmart store on the grounds of the Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World and Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium is slated for demolition, according to a permit on file with the city of Springfield.
