Theater alliance announces 4Q attendance

The Springfield Theater Alliance released its fourth-quarter 2010 attendance figures, showing a 44 percent improvement from third-quarter data. This is the second quarter for which the organization has collected and released attendance data.

According to an alliance news release, 56,773 patrons visited member entertainment venues in October, November and December, compared to 39,293 patrons reported in the third quarter.

Founded in 2008, Springfield Theater Alliance focuses on supporting, enhancing and developing the Springfield theater community. The group’s members, who meet on the first Wednesday of each month, include Springfield Contemporary Theatre at The Vandivort Center, Springfield Little Theatre at the Landers, The Skinny Improv, George Cron Class Act Productions and the theater departments at local colleges and universities.[[In-content Ad]]
