A new survey of 1,000 U.S. small-business owners found many aren't preparing for a recession.
In the survey, 44% of respondents said they have not taken any steps to prepare for a possible recession. However, 80% of those surveyed believe a recession could be on its way.
On the survey, 21% of respondents said they have scaled back on large investments. Also at 21%, respondents said they have added new products or services in order to diversify their offerings.
The survey was conducted by BlueVine in partnership with Researchscape.
