The city of St. Louis is rolling out a loan initiative in an effort to reduce the number of vehicles with temporary license plates on city streets.
The $350,000 program would loan money to drivers to buy new license plates.
The no-interest loan program will be available to people who make no more than 80% of the area's median income. That's roughly $57,800 for a single person.
