Former IT director at Webster University pleads guilty to fraud scheme

The former information technology director at Webster University has pleaded guilty to a fraud scheme.

Ronald Simpson, 54, of St. Peters, pleaded guilty to one felony count of wire fraud.

Simpson, according to the U.S. attorney's office, admitted to defrauding Webster University and an IT equipment supplier in a $2.1 million scheme.
