The team behind “The Quirkles” are bringing a new educational book series to the market.

On April 22, educators Sherry Cook and Terri Johnson are scheduled to launch the “Fuddlebrook School” series to coincide with the 10th anniversary of “The Quirkles.” The owners, who operate the series via Creative 3 LLC, are debuting the project at Fiction, Facts, and Fun, an educational enrichment program Johnson runs at 1638 E. Republic Road. Cook also is a marketing instructor at Missouri State University.

The “Fuddlebrook” series includes 26 science and literacy books, a science experiment kit, teacher’s guide and large wall poster. The series centers on Herman Tweed the hamster, according to a news release.

One book, for example, is called “The Case of the Vanishing Moon: A Story about Moon Phases.”

Since starting Creative 3 in 2004, “The Quirkles” is now in use in over 60 countries and 3,000 U.S. classrooms, as well as libraries, science centers, summer programs and colleges. The company’s YouTube videos have garnered over 2 million views.
