A Joplin Christian school for kids in preschool through grade 12 is changing its name.
College Heights Christian School is slated to become New Heights Christian Academy on July 1.
"Academy better reflects the market we serve. It’s a better description of the modern times we are in. We have a lot of students go on to excel at the collegiate level," said Josh Marsh, school board chair.
