Strafford manufacturing company appoints new CEO

Posted online

Strafford-based manufacturing company Amprod LLC has named a new CEO.

Tiffani Claussen has been promoted to the role, effective June 17, according to a news release. She succeeds the retiring Bill Hammitt.

Claussen now leads a company that has divisions including Watson Metal Masters, American Products, DustShield and EnSight Solutions. Evansville, Indiana-based Koch Enterprises Inc. bought Amprod in 2022.

“Each division is led by innovative, compassionate team members who are dedicated not only to growing our business, but also to enriching the lives of our team members and expanding our impact on our communities,” Claussen said in the release. “I am honored to work alongside all the talented Amprod team members to find new ways of strategically growing our business while remaining rooted in our core values."

Claussen started at Amprod as its chief financial officer in 2019, and she was later promoted to general manager of Watson Metal Masters. Hammitt worked at Amprod for 17 years, first as chief operating officer and then as CEO starting in 2022.

“Tiffani’s appointment as the new president of Amprod marks a new chapter in the company's history," said Kevin Koch, president and CEO of Koch Enterprises, in the release. "Her strong work ethic and alignment with company values and goals make her the ideal choice to lead us into the future."
