A Joplin cable company is doing more than just selling premium channels to the Joplin area.

Feb. 25 CableOne cable company donated more than $2,000 to the Lafayette House of Joplin.

The Lafayette House is a nonprofit shelter for battered and abused women and children who may also suffer from drug and alcohol addiction.
