Jasper County Division 4 Circuit Court Judge Joe Schoeberl has been chosen as the 1998 Mothers Against Drunk Driving Judge of the Year.
He will receive the award Aug. 1, at the MADD annual awards banquet.
The MADD chapter stated it appreciates Schoeberl's efforts in the commitment to stop dunk driving and support the victims of this violent crime.
