Nine new faculty members have joined the College of the Ozarks this fall. They are Bill Horrell, assistant professor of humanities; Linda Clemmer, assistant professor of education; Brenda Snider, assistant professor of computer science; Steven Petty, assistant professor of economics; Irene Chambron, teaching assistant of French; Mark Parent, instructor of aviation science; Don Hoeck, assistant professor of physical education; Stephen Conrad, assistant professor of biology; and Lois Swisher, assistant professor of foreign language.

Another College of the Ozarks faculty member, Sherman Henry, has been honored with the Missouri Governor's Excellence in Teaching Award. Henry, a professor of chemistry for 31 years at the College of the Ozarks, received the award during the St. Louis Governor's Conference on Higher Education.
