Speedo is the official sponsor of the swimsuit segment of the Miss USA Pageant set for Feb. 5 in Branson. Authentic Fitness Corp., maker of Speedo sports gear, will present the Speedo Swimsuit Competition and the Speedo Fitness segment of the pageant.
"The role of Speedo in the Miss USA Pageant supports the pageant's increased commitment to health and fitness," according to a release.
Speedo will award a $10,000 scholarship to the school or college of the pageant winner's choice and provide a "complete activewear and swimwear wardrobe for the new titleholder."
Scholarships will also be given to first and second runners up, and a modeling contract will be offered to the swimsuit competition winner. Speedo also is an official sponsor of the Miss Teen USA Pageant.
