Report: Big tech has spent $582M lobbying Congress

A report from vpnMentor found the five largest U.S. technology companies spent a hefty sum lobbying Congress since 2005.

Through 2018, Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google and Microsoft collectively spent $582 million, according to the report.

Their lobbying issues included taxes, trade barriers, privacy and competition.
