Raymond Tripp has been named to the board of directors of Guaranty Federal Savings Bank. Tripp is the president and owner of Bolivar Insulation Company.

Leasa Reed has joined the Springfield office of Baird, Kurtz & Dobson, certified public accountants. She will provide Medicare electronic claims processing services for long-term care facilities throughout the United States.

James E. Brown, CPA, has been promoted from director of accounting and auditing at BKD's Joplin office to accounting and auditing director responsible for quality control for the company's Southern Missouri practice.

Michelle M. Brekken, CPA, manager with BKD's Springfield office, has been named assistant to the accounting and auditing director. She will continue providing auditing and consulting services for clients in various industries.

Steven D. Warren, CPA, formerly accounting and auditing director in Springfield, has transferred to the firm's Little Rock, Ark., office. He has become the partner in charge of BKD's Central Arkansas practice.
