Kimberly N. Adams has joined the staff of The Forrester Group's Springfield office as an associate scientist. She has an educational background in chemistry, mathematics and physics, with additional study in music and writing. She will provide support for a variety of Forrester Group Projects.

April A. McDonough has been named marketing director for The Forrester Group. She has background in communication arts and has 12 years of experience as an educator in Missouri. As marketing director, McDonough will be implementing a process marketing approach and contributing to the ongoing marketing activities of the company.

Jan Baumgart-ner has been promoted to senior vice president of Commerce Bank. She is a commercial banker with more than 25 years of experience with Commerce Bank. Baumgartner holds a degree in business and economics from Drury College. She is certified by the Treasury Management Association as a certified cash manager. As senior vice president, Baumgartner manages the bank's treasury services division, which provides cash management services to corporate customers.

Stan Jinks has been added to the NationsBank Private Bank team as vice president. Jinks has 24 years of experience in banking, which includes serving as president of Boatmen's Bank in Branson from 1992 to 1997. Jinks holds a bachelor's degree from SMSU and a graduate degree from Drury College. He is also a graduate of the Oklahoma University Commercial Lending School and the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Jinks will work with Private Bank clients in lending.

Ronald J. Haberman, MD, has joined the medical staff at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. Haberman's practice is limited to electrophysiology, the treatment of cardiac arrythmia. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and his medical degree from the Rush Medical College. Haberman is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with a subspecialty in cardiovascular disease. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology. He is in practice with Heart Care and Surgical Associates, 2817 McClelland Blvd., Ste. 220, in Joplin.

Demos Klonis, DO, has joined the medical staff at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin with a practice limited to cardiology and electrophysiology. Klonis received his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and his medical degree at the University of North Texas in Fort Worth. Klonis practices at Cardiovascular Medicine, 1531 W. 32nd St., Ste. 208, in Joplin.

William J. Nicholas, MD, has joined the medical staff at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin. His practice is limited to cardiology with nuclear license and peripheral vascular invasive and non-invasive training. Nicholas earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wyoming, Laramie, and his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadelajara in Guadelajara, Mexico. Nicholas is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He also practices at Cardiovascular Medicine, 1531 W. 32nd St., Ste. 208, in Joplin.

SMC Packaging Group has announced several recent appointments.

Randall M. Bachus has been named vice president of national accounts, and assistant secretary/treasurer for SMC Packaging.

Robert M. Coovert, general manager of Arrowhead Containers Inc., has been named vice president at SMC Packaging.

Thomas J. Van Hooser has been promoted to senior vice president at SMC Packaging, a position he will hold in addition to that of general manager of Southern Missouri Container Inc.

Earl R. Vote, general manager of Wonder State Box Company Inc., has also been named vice president at SMC Packaging.
