Midwest Gardens opens on Walnut
Midwest Gardens held a grand opening April 9-11 at its business, located at 210 W. Walnut, one block south of the square in Ozark on Business Highway 14.
Products offered are bedding plants, large trees, shrubs, chemicals, bulbs, retaining wall blocks, mulches, soils, stepping stones and potting supplies.
Services include landscaping planning and implementation, yard grading and mowing.
During the peak season, the business is open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday. The company, owned by Donald and Amy Richerson, has 15 employees. The phone number is 581-5838.
Ozark chamber announces May events
Business After Hours, sponsored by the Ozark Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. May 13 at the Riverside Inn. A general discussion of Y2K issues will be held.
The Ozark Business Women's Network will meet at 7 a.m. May 19 at Springcreek Antiques and Tearoom.
Good Morning Ozark will take place at 7 a.m. May 27 at Shoney's.
