Katie Brown was hired as marketing coordinator at Titan Title & Closing LLC. Brown most recently worked as marketing manager at Pension Consultants Inc., and she owns Springfield East Jazzercise. Brown has a master’s from University of Missouri-Kansas City and received a bachelor’s in business administration from Drury University.

Health Care
Taylor Health and Wellness Center Laboratory at MSU received an excellence award from the Commission on Office Laboratory. The award is given to fewer than 3 percent of laboratories.

CoxHealth earned an American Heart Association Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award recognizing CoxHealth’s treatment of stroke patients, particularly in using aggressive medications.

Information Technology
JMark Business Solutions president/CEO Thomas H. Douglas was named to the annual MSPmentor 250, an executive listing of leaders in the global managed services industry. The criteria considered by Nine Lives Media Inc. includes number of nominations, company status on a MSPmentor ranking of managed service providers, and published reports of profits, revenue and growth.

Tammy Collier joined Intuitive Medical Software LLC as a quality assurance analyst. Collier has 22 years of experience in the health care industry, including 10 years in information technologies.

Mary Guccione joined Intuitive Medical Software as director of marketing. Guccione has 10 years of marketing experience as regional marketing director for TLC Laser Eye Centers and Butler, Rosenbury & Partners.

Shazi Makhdoom was hired as software developer at Intuitive Medical Software. Makhdoom has a bachelor’s from MSU and worked as a technical support representative at Jack Henry & Associates.

Cary Enicks was hired as hardware support analyst at Intuitive Medical Software. He has more than 12 years of IT experience in sales, support and management. Enicks holds technician certifications in A+, Network+ and Microsoft Desktop Support.

Law
Dee Wampler and Joseph Passanise were named to the 2011 Best Lawyers in America in the specialties of criminal defense of non white collar, white collar, DWI and DUI defense. Selection is based on a peer review survey.

J. Kendall Seal of Legal Services of Southern Missouri was selected to participate in The Missouri Bar’s Leadership Academy. Seal has a juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Academy participants, limited to 12, are nominated by attorneys, co-workers or local bar associations.

Travel
