The Citizens Memorial Healthcare marketing department received national recognition for advertising from two organizations. CMH received 10 awards from the Healthcare Marketing Report Publications Group and three national Aster Awards by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images Inc.
 
Banking
Chris Ollis joined U.S. Bank as a senior portfolio manager. Ollis is a certified financial planner with 14 years of experience, most recently at Commerce Trust Co. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Missouri.

CU Community Credit Union named Greg Snyder executive vice president and chief financial officer. Snyder has 25 years of credit union experience, serving CU Community for the past six years as CEO.

Engineering
Brian Orr, Toth and Associates’ structural engineering manager, was recognized by Building Design and Construction magazine as one of the top 40 professionals younger than 40 in the architectural, engineering and construction industries nationwide.

Finance
Pension Consultants Inc. financial planners Cody Mendenhall and Raymond Eddings earned their certified financial planner designations through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

Paula Dougherty of Ameriprise Financial Services was recognized for overall practice growth by consulting firm Dynamic Directions during a ceremony in Nashville, Tenn.

Rod Miller joined Merrill Lynch as a financial adviser. Miller, who has 27 years of financial services experience, worked most recently as a certified financial planner in Rogersville.

Health Care
St. John’s added seven doctors to its staff: Zaher Naji, at its St. Jude affiliate clinic; Roger Oghlakian, in neurology; Jason Carter, in emergency medicine; Matthew Brown, at its Houston clinic; John C. Brand, at its Ozark clinic; Brian Swenson, at its surgery clinic; and Bill Bayazed, at its spine center.

Citizens Memorial Healthcare family physician Juris Simanis was named a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians for his membership of at least six years, participation in public service programs, original research and teaching of family medicine.

Missouri State University interim President Clif Smart was appointed to serve on the CoxHealth Board of Directors. He fills the vacancy left by the retirement of John Squires.[[In-content Ad]]
