Missouri state senator joins race for Congress

Posted online

Missouri state Sen. Mike Moon, R-Ash Grove, is seeking the congressional seat currently held by U.S. Rep. Billy Long.

Moon, a former state representative who was elected to the Senate last year, said he would continue to oppose abortion as a cornerstone of his legislative career.

Long is running for Roy Blunt's seat in the U.S. Senate.
