After facing national scorn, a Tennessee man who stockpiled 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer has donated them.
Matt Colvin, an Amazon seller outside Chattanooga, Tennessee, yesterday gave two-thirds of his stockpile of hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipes to a church for distribution across the state.
The other third was taken by the Tennessee attorney general’s office to give to their counterparts in Kentucky for distribution. Colvin and his brother bought some of the supplies in Kentucky this month.
The donations came shortly after the Tennessee attorney general's office began investigating Colvin for price gouging.
