Legal Services of Southern Missouri

Construction crews should be on schedule for a Nov. 1 walk-through of Legal Services of Southern Missouri’s 11,000-square-foot building, and the organization hopes to move in during Thanksgiving week, said Director of Development Sharon Alexander. Morelock-Ross Builders Inc. is the general contractor, and Casey Architecture is the architect. Engineers are Olsson Associates Inc., civil, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; and Mettemeyer Engineering LLC, structural. State Bank of Southwest Missouri is the lender for the roughly $1.2 million project, which will enable Legal Services to vacate 7,000 square feet of leased space in two locations. The building includes offices, storage and conference space.
