Japanese pharmaceutical company breaks ground on $230M expansion in LA

Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda has broken ground on a $230 million expansion in Los Angeles.

The expansion to its Los Angeles plasma fractionation facility is expected to increase production by 2 million liters annually.

“The U.S. is playing a critical role in our global manufacturing network and contributing to our supply chain resilience globally,” said Thomas Wozniewski, global manufacturing and supply officer at Takeda.
