Google employees are planning a sit-in protest today.
The sit-in follows 20,000 employees walking out in November 2018 to protest Google's handling of sexual harassment allegations. Now, some employees say Google has taken retaliatory measures against them.
“From being told to go on sick leave when you’re not sick, to having your reports taken away, we’re sick of retaliation,” the organizers of the sit-in said in a tweet yesterday. “Six months ago, we walked out. This time, we’re sitting in. 11am tomorrow.”
