Project description: Schweitzer United Methodist Church is adding and renovating its main building while renovating the adjacent former motorcars dealership structure owned by the church, according to Donnie Volentine, project supervisor with Larry Snyder & Co. The project will add four children’s classrooms and a renovated youth area, said Associate Pastor Lori Lampert. The congregation’s Grow to Know preschool also is expanding and its four nurseries will double in size, Lampert said. The church plans to move its administrative offices and Community Outreach Center for disaster relief and pantry services to the former auto dealer building.
