Project description: Snyder Construction Group Project Manager Jennifer Baker said the facility will have two levels – offices for the Springfield-Greene County Park Board maintenance staff on the ground floor with Parks vehicle and equipment storage on the lower level. The center is designed to meet Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Silver standards, according to Baker, and regional and recycled materials are being used. The project, funded by the city’s 2007 1/4-cent sales tax for capital improvements, is scheduled for completion Nov. 2.
