Ryan Salame, former co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, announced his new role as an inmate at FCI Cumberland in a LinkedIn post.
Salame is set to report today to serve his sentence lasting seven and a half years.
An aide to former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried and head of the company's Bahamas subsidiary, Salame was sentenced earlier this year after he pleaded guilty to violating campaign finance laws and operating an unlicensed business in his work with FTX.
