Japan-based Seven & I Holdings announced it would close more than 400 “underperforming” 7-Eleven stores in North America.
The company cited declining sales and traffic, among other factors, for the plans to close the 444 stores.
There are more than 13,000 7-Eleven stores in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
