A Christian County farm that recently began adding commercial elements has a new flower shop opening soon.
Cassidy Flower Co. LLC is scheduled to debut Feb. 10 at 5176 N. Fremont Road in Nixa, according to a news release. It's right on the city limits of Ozark, where the Cassidy Station development opened late last year with a mercantile shop on a century farm.
Kyle and Hollie Estes are behind the Cassidy Station project, with the flower shop considered to be a Phase II initiative. The Esteses hired Lauren Lindsay, who has experience as a florist with Fleur Floral Studio LLC in Springfield, as Cassidy Flower Co.'s lead designer.
"Every aspect of this project has been a result of attention to detail and extreme intentionality," Lindsay said in the release. "I am honored to continue that legacy of intentionality through the designs and environment I create at Cassidy Flower Co.”
Cassidy Flower Co. will offer fresh-cut flowers, ready-to-go vase arrangements, wrapped bouquets, and individual vases and stems.
Cassidy Station has a goal of opening all phases by late spring, with plans in the works for a meat shop with products from the farm, an event space in a barn that's being restored, a bridal suite and outdoor entertainment spaces, such as an amphitheater, according to past reporting.
Cassidy Station is located on the south side of State Highway CC in Christian County.
A new and improved Reed Academy is being constructed on the middle school’s original site to preserve a neighborhood connection that goes back a century.
