“For me, it was all about amassing experience and learning as much as I could, and then at the same time, applying that to my business,” says SueAnn Hollowell, CEO of Optikal. Hollowell started her first company, Imaginair, before starting college. She and her best friend airbrushed designs for festival goers and sports fans to earn money. She says starting Optikal was much easier since she had learned the proper steps with her first company.
