Family members who are survivors of last month's shooting in El Paso, Texas, filed suit against Walmart.
The suit was filed by Jessica and Guillermo Garcia, who were both severely injured in the mass shooting at a Walmart store.
According to the El Paso Times, the suit does not seek monetary compensation. Rather, it seeks answers as to why Walmart did not implement measures that could have prevented the shooting. The goal is to require Walmart to introduce certain safeguards, such as the hiring of security guards.
