In response to pressure from U.S. courts and legislators, Deutche Bank officials said the company has some tax records related to President Donald Trump.
Bank officials did not say whether the documents include Trump's tax returns. In a court filing, the bank blacked out the name of the person or people named in tax records. Bank officials indicated the tax records may contain "parties not named in the subpoenas but who may constitute 'immediate family.'"
Lawmakers have sought the records as they investigate possible "foreign influence in the U.S. political process." Trump is seeking to block House committees from getting the records.
