The number of global deaths from the coronavirus has surpassed those inside China for the first time.
Quartz today reported 3,296 deaths outside of China. China has had 3,217 deaths, according to the report.
Infection cases reported by countries outside China reached 88,367. That compares with 81,020 in China.
