Construction in the Ozarks: St. John's Orthopedic Hospital

Construction is under way for the 149,000-square-foot orthopedic hospital for St. John’s and its parent entity, St. Louis-based Mercy. McCarthy Building Cos. Inc. of St. Louis is the general contractor for the $105 million project. Dallas-based HKS Architects Inc. is the architect of record for the project. Olsson Associates Inc. is the civil and site engineer, and Heideman Associates Inc. is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer. Ground was broken for the 48-bed facility in March, and the estimated completion date is fall 2013.
