China bars most foreigners

China is temporarily barring most foreigners from entering the country.

Exceptions are being made for diplomatic workers, as well as foreign citizens coming to China for “necessary economic, trade, scientific or technological activities, or out of emergency humanitarian needs."

While the coronavirus outbreak started in China, its domestic virus cases have dwindled.
