The Community Foundation of the Ozarks has elected a new slate of officers and five members to its board of directors for the fiscal year that began July 1, according to a news release.
New executive committee members are:
- Chairman Cliff Brown, attorney with Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown PC;
- Vice Chairwoman Jill Reynolds, vice president of Commerce Trust;
- Secretary Shari Hoffman, senior managing advisor of BKD Wealth Advisors LLC, a subsidiary of BKD LLP;
- Treasurer Roger Shaw, rancher and businessman from Thomasville;
- Gloria Galanes, at-large, professor of communications for Missouri State University; and
- Richard Cavender, at-large, who retired as executive director of the Meramec Regional Planning Commission in June. He also is a new board member.
Other new board members are:
- Chris Craig, director of Drury University's College of Education;
- Rob Foster, president of the Marshfield Area Community Foundation;
- Karen Miller, a retired Ozark Public Schools teacher; and
- Jami Peebles, executive vice president and southern regional manager for Central Trust and Investment in Springfield.
“We welcome a great group of new board members and officers who are committed to our mission of philanthropy, public leadership, grantmaking and collaboration to build stronger communities across the Ozarks,” CFO President Brian Fogle said in the release.
