How to Write a Business Plan The Path to Success, will be held 6-9 p.m. Jan. 5 and 7 at SMSU Glass Hall, west entrance. The course covers the ins and outs of planning your business, taking what you know about your business and translating it into a written plan for day-to-day management and as a tool to obtain financing. Financial Management for Small Businesses A Series for Non-Accountants and Non-Financial Managers, will be offered in three sessions, 6-9 p.m., Jan. 12, 19 and 26. The program offers an opportunity for businesspeople to learn how to understand the financial picture of their businesses in real-world terms. This series, from the SMSU Small Business Development Center, starts with Understanding Financial Statements, to be presented Jan. 12, followed by How to Control Cash Flow Jan. 19 and Predicting Future Cash Needs Jan. 26.
